SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARDS SELECTS HANEKE DESIGN AS SEMIFINALIST
Haneke Design selected by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce as semifinalist to compete in this year’s 37th Annual Small Business of the Year Awards.
Small businesses can make a big impact. That is the goal of the Small Business of the Year Awards. Each year the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce and a volunteer board select local companies that are dedicated to creating jobs and adding value to the Tampa Bay area.
Businesses must be nominated to apply for this award. To create a level playing field, companies are judged by their employee count.

- Startup
- 21—50 Employees
- 5—20 Employees
- 51—250 Employees
Nominees go through a multi-level interview process. Companies are vetted by the judges who evaluate them based on a set of criteria, such as operational management, community involvement and ethical business practices. Judges even visit the nominees’ workplace to immerse themselves in what a typical day is like at the office.
The awards will take place on September 8th, 2017 at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts where the winners in each category will be announced.
