5.2009 Haneke Design Develops New Community Action Website for Aquafina
AquafinaCommunityAction.com aids community events committed to improving their local environment

Haneke Design, a graphic and interactive communications firm, recently launched AquafinaCommunityAction.com, a new website for Aquafina that aids eco volunteers who positively impact the environment in local communities. The site will feature profiles of a growing network of volunteer-dependent community organizations committed to improving their local environment.

“We are excited about this website and its potential impact in helping organizations across the country promote their good work and increase volunteer participation,” said Jody Haneke, president of Haneke Design. “The Aquafina brand team has done an outstanding job assisting these organizations on the ground and now through online promotion.”

Haneke Design developed and designed the new site in alignment with the aesthetics of other Aquafina websites, while maintaining a unique personality for each event profile page. The new site aims to showcase all the events Aquafina currently supports as well as serve as a central point of information for potential volunteers and other community leaders.

An interactive map of the United States allows visitors to see which green events are taken place in their community. By clicking on a state, a visitor can pull up a list of upcoming eco-friendly events. To learn more about a specific event, the user simply clicks on a chosen event from the list.

Aquafina supports events large and small throughout the country by providing a range of resources to organizers of green community events seeking to sustain their volunteer efforts. These resources include free Aquafina water beverages and bags for proper recycling of the empty water bottles. Through the website, community leaders can apply for Aquafina’s support.
