President of Haneke Design Joins Board of AIGA Tampa Bay Jody Haneke to serve as web communications director for the design association
Jody Haneke, president of Haneke Design, a graphic and interactive communications firm, has joined the board of directors at AIGA Tampa Bay, the professional association for design, as web communications director. His primary responsibility is to oversee all electronic media and provide strategic guidance as the chapter’s new media expert.
“It’s an honor and privilege to join the board of directors at AIGA,” said Haneke. “It is a prestigious organization focused on furthering the field of design and advancing the careers of designers. I look forward to starting my term and carrying out my duties.”
As web communications director, Haneke is responsible for the management of all web-based initiatives including website maintenance, email marketing campaigns and appointing and supervising a web committee as needed. He is charged with relaying chapter information to the design community, AIGA members, potential sponsors and the local community in a timely manner. This position also includes keeping fellow board members educated on the latest electronic trends and technological needs.
AIGA was founded in 1914 and remains the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design. Its mission is to advance designing as a professional craft, strategic tool and vital cultural force.
