Background: Aquafina, a PEPSICO Company, receives numerous requests throughout the year from worthy causes and events looking for sponsorship.

Solution: Haneke Design helped Aquafina streamline this process by developing a website that allows these groups to "apply" online. The site also allows Aquafina to showcase the events they do sponsor.

Technical: Haneke Design built the entire front end as well as dynamic backend that completely automated the application process.

Target/Speed Racer - Mobile Website

Background: Target stores launched a sweepstakes centered on the new "Speed Racer" movie. The program ran both in digital and traditional media outlets including Target's in-store "Channel Red" television spots, 2M printed lanyards distributed at Indy competitions, and a digital marketing blitz. The campaign included an SMS sweepstakes to win a trip to Japan to attend the 2009 Indy Japan 300 Race, as well as other Target alerts. To enter, fans use their mobile phones to send text messages to Target, containing a special keyword.

Solution: Haneke Design was engaged to design and build a website specifically for mobile devices. After the contestants text the keyword to Target, they will be given a special web link to access the site on their handheld device.

Technical: Design requirements for the project include xhtml/css best practices: accessible content, simple yet effective and aesthetic design, minimal file sizes, and to be compatible with top selling mobile devices.

Vote New York

Background: New York State has adopted a two phase implementation plan to introduce new voting systems to the voting process in New York. These new systems will be in addition to the regular lever voting machines that have been in use for most of the last century. Ballot marking devices provide increased opportunities for individuals with disabilities to vote privately and independently through the use of audio and tactile interfaces. They also are better equipped to aid voters whose first language is not English.

A website was needed to reflect these important changes, and it had to be as accessible as the ballot marking devices themselves. This deemed compliance with Section 508, an amendment to the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 that requires require Federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities.

Solution: The user interface for this project was built on the concept of simplicity and ease of use. Any visitor to the website would be able to find information easily and in a myriad of ways. The content incorporates streaming video to educate voters on what to expect at the polls.

Technical: The website meets Section 508 compliance in a number of ways. The code itself was streamlined using XHTML and CSS, making 508 compliance top priority. Content (such as videos) which may not be accessible to every person on every device must be accessible in alternate formats – such as full transcripts, which the website provides.

Stephen King - Website Promoting New Book "Cell"

Background: Create website for Stephen King's new book, Cell. The web site's primary goal was to be a destination site that coupled with a mobile marketing campaign.

Solution: A website was created that not only complemented the book's design, but also extended the look-and-feel to include subtle references to cell phone network architecture and voice waveform symbols. A VIP club, information about the book and the ability to "Send the Pulse to a Friend" (The creepy sound you would hear when becoming possessed via cellphone) were added.

Technical: Various areas of the website had to be integrated with the underlying mobile delivery technology.

Background: MetropolitanMD is ChicagoÕs premier Cosmetic Surgery Center, offering a diverse blend of todayÕs most sophisticated cosmetic surgery procedures and the latest in non-invasive treatments for the face and body as well as hair restoration procedures.

Solution: What sets this website apart is it's intuitive organization; there are several ways to find the same thing, without appearing redundant. The dropdown in the header lists all procedures by body part and procedure name, making it a snap to locate information.

Technical: The site was built using PHP and has a custom built Content Management System for all of the various doctors to log in and update news, features, and photos.

Background: BodyLogicMD is a network of physicians specializing in bioidentical hormone therapy, fitness and nutrition. Helping women and men suffering the symptoms from hormonal imbalance, menopause and andropause.

Solution: Haneke Design built a dynamic map of the United States that would highlight certain states where BodyLogicMD has practice locations. The user simply select a state to view a list of physicians.

Technical: The map was created using Adobe Flash technology. The Flash movie inputs XML data from the BodyLogicMD enterprise application to obtain all physician information and display detailed information.

SOE Training Skins

Background: SOE Software offers a number of customized software solutions to elections officials that enhance their office productivity while enabling them to improve voter education. Their online training solution required a customizable user interface with "templates" their various customers can choose from.

Solution: This UI required the design of several CSS-driven skins so that different clients could select which look suited their county best. The structure is 100% separate from the presentation, so that the look and feel can be changed without changing any HTML; there are simply different CSS files for each design. Since these training websites are government-based, the other major requirement is that they be completely accessible.

Background: BIGgross, Your Automotive Marketing Powerhouse, invented several innovations we see today in high-impact advertising and marketing for automotive dealerships. Leaders in the industry, BIGgross needed a web presence that gave a dealership manager confidence while also providing the excitement necessary to motivate them to action.

Solution: After researching the target audience, Haneke Design proposed utilizing a spokesmodel that would speak, via flash video, directly to the target audience. This approach, which utilizes a broadcast-like experience, was a perfect fit for the intended audience.
