Haneke creates an online presence for Devlin Design Group that drives leads and highlights design firm’s award-winning sets.

Today’s television audiences expect their news to be entertaining – with presenters immersed in visually engaging sets, telling stories accompanied by dazzling displays and slick motion graphics. Devlin Design Group (DDG) has helped change the way viewers consume broadcast news by creating memorable, state-of-the-art sets for some of the nation’s most watched news, sports, and lifestyle broadcasts.  But its web site – the primary vehicle for showcasing its award-winning designs to the world – wasn’t getting the job done. This month, the Crested Butte, CO-based scenic and lighting design leader proudly launched its brand new responsive web site, DDGtv.com, designed and developed by Haneke Design.

“We loved this project from the moment we met with DDG,” said Jody Haneke, President of Haneke Design. “Our teams are full of people who deeply understand visual media and share a vision of how to convey DDG’s incredible work and the creative process to prospects. That alignment helped us to produce a web site that really does justice to their work and approach.”

DDG, in business for nearly three decades, is a pioneer in contemporary scenic design. The firm offers turnkey solutions that range from design to integration to fabrication to air.  Their work can be seen coast to coast from KTVA in Alaska, KSAZ in Phoenix, WAGA in Atlanta, and WTVT FOX 13 in Tampa Bay.

Topping the list of needs for DDG’s new online presence was a choosing an easy-to-use platform that the team could use to post content and make updates as needed, offer the best templates for showcasing DDG’s client work and promoting national sales, and deliver better site analytics.

The Haneke team chose WordPress for DDG’s new responsive web site for its ease of use and flexibility. The new site incorporates copious photos of DDG’s set designs, compelling video, case studies, and a newsroom.

“We’re in the image business, and having a web site that enables us to display our work as beautifully as this one does is a tremendous asset,” said Dan Devlin, owner and Chief Creative Strategist for Devlin Design Group. “Our web site visits and number of project inquiries shot up after the launch. Collaborating with Haneke Design on this project was an excellent experience for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.”
