Jody Haneke, CEO of Haneke Design, has been selected by his alma mater as Alumni of Honor

Ringling College of Art and Design has started a new tradition of honoring one alumni from each area of study for a full year in a gallery display located outside the President’s office. This year, Jody Haneke has been selected as the Alumni of Honor for graphic design.

Ringling College feels it is important to recognize the accomplishments of our alumni who have demonstrated outstanding success in their field. With criteria developed by Ringling’s Department Heads, we are honoring those whose actions or traits provide a level of inspiration to our current students, fellow alumni, or members of our community.”

Jody Haneke graduated from Ringling in 1995 and has since continued to support his alma mater by mentoring students and sharing insights on the ever-changing design profession.

“My Ringling education in design has continually influenced my work over many years,” said Jody Haneke, CEO of Haneke Design. “It’s timeless in the sense that it serves as a design foundation that can be applied to ever-evolving challenges across print, digital, consumer product, and web application design, and this high standard has contributed greatly to my success in business and in life. I am forever grateful for the foundation that Ringling education has provided me, and I’m thrilled to be featured as Alumni of Honor.”

Jody Haneke is among 11 alumni that have been selected for this honor in 2019, each representing their major:

  • Motion Design
  • Computer Animation
  • Game Art
  • Graphic Design
  • Interior Design
  • Business of Art & Design
  • Fine Art
  • Film
  • Photography & Imaging
  • Illustration

The Alumni Wall of Honor is a museum-quality display in the Keating Center of Ringling, in an alcove just off the campus’ official alumni gallery. The wall will be featured for a year, along with a video screen highlighting outstanding work of the featured alumni.
