DAVID LAMARRE PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT OF CLIENT ENGAGEMENT

Haneke Design has promoted David LaMarre to vice president of client engagement.  LaMarre, who joined the team in 2010 as director of account services, now has complete ownership of the client engagement life cycle for the interactive design and development agency, from initial contact with new and existing clients and strategic consultations to solution development, implementation, and final delivery.

“Since his first day on the job, Dave has been an incredible asset to our team and instrumental in our growth and success in the mobile space,” said Jody Haneke, president of Haneke Design. “He is one of those rare people who can engage as successfully with clients as he can with our team, understanding the needs of each side, ensuring that collaborations are smooth and client expectations are exceeded every time.”

In his new role, LaMarre is also responsible for new business development and lead generation and overseeing marketing efforts for the agency. He reports directly to the president and board of directors.

LaMarre’s successes as part of the Haneke Design team include his involvement with projects such as the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon mobile app for Competitor Group, the One World Explorer iPad application, multiple versions of the Z mobile videophone app for deaf and hard of hearing users for client CSDVRS, and the creation and launch of that company’s latest venture, Stratus Video, a remote video interpreting solution that provides interpretation in American Sign Language (ASL) for dozens of spoken languages.

“Dave played a major role in the development of our first Z mobile app release as well as the concept and launch of the Stratus Video apps, and continues to be a valued strategic partner,” said Lydia Runnels, vice president of IT and product development at CSDVRS. “We couldn’t be happier to see him get this well-deserved promotion, and look forward to working with him and the Haneke Design team on our next exciting collaboration.”

In his prior role at Haneke Design, LaMarre was the liaison between clients and the agency’s design and development teams, guiding clients through the process of developing mobile applications and web sites that would help them achieve their strategic business goals, strengthen their brands, and increase sales. He also oversaw the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific short term projects and specified deliverables.

Before joining Haneke Design, LaMarre was a partner account manager at Whaleback Systems, a provider of cloud-based managed communications services for small and medium sized businesses.

LaMarre is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine. He lives in Tampa with his wife and two children.
