Tampa, Fla.  (June 13, 2013) – Haneke Design, a leading interactive design and mobile application development firm, has completed the rebranding of PrivacyStar, a smartphone application for Android, BlackBerry, and iPhone that provides users with complete control of their smartphones.

“PrivacyStar has emerged as a national leader in call blocking and privacy protection for smartphone users,” said Jody Haneke, president of Haneke Design. “The new logo, color schemes and brand standards manual we created for them help ensure consistency across visual media and promote brand recognition for the company as its products and services are deployed on devices for consumers and Fortune 500 customers alike.”

Founded in 2008, PrivacyStar has blocked over 120 million calls for our users and filed over 300,000 complaints directly with the Federal Trade Commission. The company’s applications allow smartphone users to identify unrecognized cellphone, landline, and business callers by name, locate the exact business name or category they are looking to find based on their location, and file complaints for potential telemarketing and debt collection violations. PrivacyStar’s Lookup+ application captures detailed information about possible violations including date, time, number and identity, and allows users to easily provide this information to regulatory agencies so they may take action.

“Given our company’s tremendous growth over the past few years and the number of new products, applications, and partnerships we’ve created and have in the works, it made sense for us to rebrand and formalize our graphical standards,” said Josh Smith, COO and co-founder of PrivacyStar.  “Haneke Design has not only realized our vision for the new branding, they’ve become a tremendously valuable collaborator and co-creator for new products we have in the concept stage.  They take our ideas from concept to wireframe to look and feel, mapping out every user experience and interaction along the way.  Our products are becoming increasingly accessible, elegant, and user friendly as a result.”
