The Communicator Awards Mobile & Apps ExcellenceWe’re making room on the Trophy Wall for two shiny new statuettes!

News arrived last week that Haneke Design won a Gold Award of Excellence for Mobile Apps for client World Emblem and a Silver Award of Distinction for Mobile Apps for the “Ideal You” app created for client Ideal Image in the 2015 Communicator Awards competition. The Communicator Awards program, now in its 21st year, is held by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. Over 6,000 entries were received from across the United States and around the world in this year’s contest. The Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals.

The World Emblem Mobile App was designed for account executives working with clients in the field, empowering them to upload images and create designs as they discuss them. With this new tool, the company’s representatives and clients can collaborate to bring brands to life, faster and easier than ever before. This interactive tool makes it all possible, and allows clients to order samples on the fly, compressing the time between imagination and realization.

Ideal Image’s “Ideal You” mobile app allows users to project how they will look after undergoing treatment with one or all of Ideal Image’s newest service offerings, simulating “turning back the hands of time.” A leader in North America in laser hair removal and cosmetic medical services, Ideal Image’s new mobile app allows customers to virtually try before they buy treatments such as Ulthera® skin tightening and lifting, BOTOX® Cosmetic, fillers such as Juvederm® and Restylane® as well as Photo Facial BBL Broad Band Light skin resurfacing treatments.

The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the  Current IAVA membership represents a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms including:  AirType Studio, Condè Nast, Disney, Keller Crescent, Lockheed Martin, Monster.com, MTV, rabble+rouser, Time Inc., Tribal DDB, Yahoo!, and many others.
