HANEKE DESIGN SCORES THREE NEW STEVIES AT THE 2014 AMERICAN BUSINESS AWARDS
Haneke Design claimed three new Stevie® Awards for mobile applications that it created for clients at The 2014 American Business Awards’ Tech & New Product awards ceremony held in San Francisco on Friday, September 12.
CalciumPro, a mobile app envisioned by parathyroid surgeon James Norman, MD that has helped diagnose hundreds of parathyroid tumors since its launch in 2013, won Gold in the Education & Reference category. PrayerBowls.com, a responsive e-commerce site and mobile app built for Tampa entrepreneurs Karen and Tom Berry, also won Gold in the Lifestyle category. A responsive web site and mobile application created for Two Coast Ventures, Tie the Knot App, won a Bronze award in the Events category.
“We are honored to be among the exceptional organizations that have been recognized for the Stevie Awards and deeply grateful to our clients for trusting us to bring their ideas to life,” said Jody Haneke, president of Haneke Design, a leading interactive design and development firm focused on delivering user-centered solutions for desktop, mobile and tablet devices. “Each of these projects has helped transform people’s lives in some meaningful way: coordinating their weddings, strengthening them through the power of prayer, or helping them find the answer to a medical mystery that has caused so much suffering. We couldn’t be more proud to see these collaborations recognized with Gold and Bronze Stevie Awards.”
The American Business Awards, also called the Stevie Awards, is the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
“We’re delighted to recognize so many innovative companies, new products, technical achievements, and technology executives this year,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “We congratulate all of the Stevie Award winners, and thank them for the inspiration their achievements have stimulated.”
More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories.
Finalists were chosen by more than 150 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May.
