share story

Haneke Design is a proud sponsor of Beer and Bow Ties – a benefit for suicide prevention.

Beer and Bow Ties is a Tampa-based event founded by Kim Randall and Brent Kraus out of passion to help provide resources for suicide prevention and awareness after personally experiencing the loss of a loved one to suicide.

Where

Armature Works
1910 N Ola Ave Tampa, FL 33602

When

September 13, 2019

This year marks the 5th anniversary of the event, which will be held at Armature Works. The night will be filled with complementary offerings from some of Tampa Bay’s very best restaurants, local craft brewers and premium liquor brands, and will feature curated food, wine and beer pairing stations. There will also be live entertainment, art shows and exclusive photo opportunities. You won’t want to miss this!

100% of the proceeds go to the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, who provides a range of programs and services to ensure that no one in our community has to face crisis alone. The center receives an average of 225 calls every day, 17 of those being suicide related. The mission of this event is to build awareness and raise money for the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay so that they can continue providing guidance and support to those in need.

Last year the event raised $35,000 which was used to pay the salaries of two Suicide Prevention Care Coordinators as well as training of the staff and education for local area high schools. This year’s fundraising goal is $80,000.
