HANEKE DESIGN TAKES HOME TWO AVA AWARDS IN 2019 COMPETITION
AMCP has awarded the agency with two AVA Awards, acknowledging their ability to provide creative technical solutions for their clients
The Association of American Marketing and Communications Professionals has awarded Haneke Design with a Platinum Award and Honorable Mention for mobile application projects in its 2019 awards program.
The AVA Awards are an international competition that recognizes excellence by creative professionals responsible for the planning, concept, direction, design and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication. This year, there were over 2,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 23 other countries. 16 percent of entrants won the top award, Platinum, and approximately 8 percent were Honorable Mention winners.
Taking home a Platinum Award is the Thyroid 3D Mobile App which was created for client Clayman Thyroid Center. It is used to educate patients in the analysis of their thyroid nodules by allowing users to input specific medical data, then providing a personalized analysis and recommendations for what next steps should be taken. The app also uses the test result data to produce a 3D model of what the users’ thyroid looks like and how it is growing over time.
Receiving Honorable Mention is the Truck Driver Check-In app created for client Gerdau. This app works in conjunction with Gerdau’s existing SAP ERP software to provide a mobile-friendly user experience for truck drivers and steel mill employees. The app allows drivers to check in right from their mobile device, effectively improving the workflow at Gerdau’s steel mills.
“We are honored to once again have our work and the vision of our clients recognized by such a prestigious award,” said Jody Haneke, CEO of Haneke Design. “Winning two AVA Awards spotlights our ability to create effective technical solutions, and we are excited to achieve even more successful outcomes for our clients.”
The AVA Digital Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), one of the most respected evaluators of creative work in the marketing and communication industry. The AMCP hosts several other competitions throughout the year, including MarCom Awards, Hermes Creative Awards and dotCOMM Awards.
