The best days are ahead of us, and this recognition fuels our momentum.”

PrayerBowls.com, a responsive e-commerce site built last year for Tampa entrepreneurs Karen and Tom Berry, was chosen as a Platinum winner in the Digital Marketing – Innovative Mobile Development category.  CalciumPro, a mobile app developed for Norman Parathyroid Center that has helped diagnose hundreds of parathyroid tumors since its launch last year, also won a Platinum award in the same category. Tie the Knot, a responsive web site and mobile application Haneke Design created for Two Coast Ventures, was recognized as a Gold award winner for Mobile Web – App for Entertainment.  The responsive web site Haneke Design created for ProIQ Solutions, a provider of innovative project solutions, earned an Honorable Mention in the Mobile Web – Responsive category.

The AVA Digital Awards is sponsored and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), an international organization of several thousand marketing, communications, public relations, and production professionals. The judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

Winners were selected from more than 2000 entries in over 200 categories, including Audio, Video, and Web-based production.  About 14% of the entries won the Platinum Award, the organization’s top honor.  Approximately 16% won Gold, and 7% merited an Honorable Mention.  A list of Platinum and Gold winners can be found on the AVA Digital Awards website at www.avaawards.com.
