Side-HillsCountyTourismJody Haneke, president of Haneke Design, addressed tourism and arts organization executives at the Hillsborough County Tourist Development Workshop. He discussed how these organizations can engage mobile consumers.

With many in the audience being from nonprofit or government-funded organizations, Haneke explained how can they develop cost effective mobile strategies that will ensure packed houses — even during “off peak” hours — and how to offer visitors richer, more interactive experiences during their visit. The standing-room only crowd furiously scribbled notes and asked endless questions.

The event, hosted by the Hillsborough County Economic Development Department and Tampa Bay & Company on December 2, 2010, was just in time to give marketing executives the ideas they need to launch great mobile campaigns in 2011.
