side-USF-jumpEvery semester the Professional Communication and Presentation class at Ringling College of Art & Design hosts a “fishbowl panel” involving practicing artists and designers addressing the topic of professional networking and mentoring.

Haneke Design president Jody Haneke was asked to return his alma mater and participate in thus year’s fishbowl panel. Haneke along with the other panelists shared advice with Ringling students on the subjects of networking, creating an eye-catching portfolio, mentorship and staying engaged in your work. Students also had the opportunity to ask questions and approach the panelists for one-on-one advice after the panel.

“Mentoring young designers is a core value of mine,” said Haneke. “Plus, I always enjoy returning to Ringling to participate in opportunities to advise their students.”
