Jody Haneke to Speak at AMA Tampa Bay’s December Program

Jody Haneke, president of Haneke Design, a leading graphic and interactive communications firm, will be AMA Tampa Bay’s guest speaker at its December program, which will explore the world of mobile marketing. Haneke’s presentation, “Integrating Mobile Apps into Business and Marketing Strategy”, will take place Thursday, December 10 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Tampa Westshore Hotel.

Haneke will share with Tampa Bay’s marketing professionals how brands large and small are successfully integrating mobile applications into their marketing campaigns. As more and more consumers adopt smart phones like the iPhone, mobile apps are becoming an integral part of a solid business strategy to drive sales and web traffic. Organizations are using them to generate publicity, offer promotions, power grassroots campaigns and even raise funds.

In the spirit of the holiday season, AMA Tampa Bay is partnering with the Mobile Giving Foundation to use mobile apps as a way to support several non-profit organizations throughout the region.  Details will be provided during the course of the program to show participants how they can send text message donations to participating charities.  Haneke and his team were instrumental in helping set up the Mobile Giving Foundation’s SMS platform and the relationships with diverse carriers that will allow them to receive donations via short code from mobile and smartphones.  He will show attendees how the process works and how their own favorite charities can participate in the program.
