Based on her personal experience, Carrie Wildes co-founded The Promise Love Foundation which assists foster parents to raise funds for adoption.

As an industrial engineer, she began her career at Abbott Laboratories and worked there for five years in numerous positions in manufacturing, logistics, and internal consulting and process improvement. With that position she did a significant amount of international travel and worked in Germany, Italy, Argentina, South Africa, and Brazil.

Photography became an interest through her travels. When Wildes relocated to Tampa, Florida, she worked for Tech Data and then started her own photography company, Wedding Wiz.
