Coupled with a mobile marketing campaign, Haneke Design created a mobile Web site for Stephen King’s new novel, Cell.

Haneke Design created a Web site that not only complemented the book’s design, but also extended the look and feel to include subtle references to cell phone network architecture and voice waveform symbols. Technically, the Web site needed to integrate with the underlying mobile delivery technology.

The site serves as a destination within the overall campaign where fans can sign up for the mobile VIP club, receive information about the book and send the “Pulse” to a friend, which is a creepy sound one hears when possessed via cell phone.

Cell is classic Stephen King, a story of gory horror and white-knuckling suspense that makes the unimaginable entirely plausible and totally fascinating.
