Haneke Design, a leading graphic and user experience design firm specializing in iPad and iPhone applications and mobile web development, today announced the completion of an iPad application developed for Gilead Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: GILD). The application lets Gilead researchers conduct surveys in the field, store responses, and upload them securely to the company’s database once an Internet connection is available. The application also allows researchers to modify survey questions and response settings remotely, sort and filter the collected data myriad ways, and export the files in CSV, Microsoft Excel, and XML formats.
“We’re very pleased to have had the opportunity to work with the Gilead team to develop an iPad app that will help speed up their research process and give them unprecedented flexibility to modify their surveys anytime, anywhere,” said Jody Haneke, president of Haneke Design. “Researchers now have the ability to move through crowds at events, gather information quickly, and even qualify the respondents for future contact and follow up with an opt-in feature. As soon as researchers can access the Internet again, everything they collected out in the field is synched up with the designated database.”
