side-tbbj-bestPlaceThe Tampa Bay Business Journal has recognized Haneke Design, a leading interactive design and development firm, as a finalist in the Nearly Big category of its 2011 Best Places to Work awards program.

“It’s an honor for Haneke Design to be recognized among such an impressive group of finalists as a Best Place to Work in Tampa Bay,” said Jody Haneke, president of Haneke Design. “I’m privileged to come to the office everyday and be with amazing people who are as passionate as I am about doing exceptionally creative, industry-leading work for our clients. It’s a great feeling knowing that my team enjoys working here as much as I do.”

In all, 57 companies in four categories were named finalists. Employees of nominated companies were asked to complete an online survey conducted by Quantum Workplace. The survey measured 10 key engagement categories including team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits. Each question of each survey was compiled and evaluated with finalists chosen in each size category according to overall score.

An awards ceremony will take place April 21 at Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa where scores and rankings of the finalists will be announced.
