The One World Explorer incorporates new custom animation and featured video showcasing the festive holiday spirit of Manhattan

The One World Observatory Explorer is a staple to One World Observatory on the 100th floor of One World Trade Center in New York City. Visitors to the observatory can enhance their viewing experience by renting propriety iPads that feature an augmented reality view of the New York City skyline.

As a part of the Winter ONEderland campaign at One World Observatory, the Haneke Design team stepped in to create a seasonal experience to showcase a special Christmas in New York video produced by the One World Explorer Productions team in collaboration with Wolff Advertising. The video is written and narrated by the noted author Jay McInerney, which is apparent through its melodic and poetic verses.

“The goal was to create an experience that made the visitors feel immersed in the holiday spirit,” noted Joel Baumwoll, VP at One World Explorer Productions. Haneke Design added custom animations of snow falling on the skyline screen and the ability to view the Christmas in New York experience directly through the iPad experience.

The new seasonal video features the festive atmosphere around New York City during the Christmas season. With lights on every street, ice skating in Central Park, and holiday displays in storefront windows, there is so much to experience in New York this time of year. Accompanied by upbeat holiday music, the video will get your foot tapping to the beat of the holidays.

“The Christmas in New York update was an enriching experience for Team Haneke. Knowing that at the end of it, the finished product would be seen by thousands of visitors makes it that much more exciting,” noted Jody Haneke, President & Founder at Haneke Design.

Winter ONEderland at One World Observatory will only be available until January 7, 2018. So get your tickets now, and experience Christmas in New York from the 100th floor.
