barcamp-sidebarHaneke Design, a leading mobile application developer, today announced its sponsorship of the 2012 BarCamp and CodeCamp.  The events, presented by BarCamp Tampa Bay, will be held on October 13 from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 pm at the University of South Florida.  Haneke Design, which has supported BarCamp Tampa Bay since its inception, is sponsoring a presentation room as well as all design and layout services for T-shirts and other branding materials.

“We’re firm believers in the BarCamp concept and are happy to step up once again and support this important community event,” said Jody Haneke, president of Haneke Design. “It’s an opportunity for us to meet and exchange ideas with highly creative and talented people, discover new trends, and identify new talent for our company.   Events like this one bring out people we don’t normally see at business events around town, so it’s a great for us to get visibility with them as well.”

The topics and the presenters at BarCamp Tampa Bay will be diverse, but are oriented toward the interests of those who have a strong interest in emerging technologies and the internet.  Expected attendees include web designers, developers, marketers, copy writers, SEOs, sys admins and anyone who operates a business with a web presence.

The “unconference” format offers many options for attendees, letting them move from room to room and stick around for the presentations that capture their attention and interests. Attendees are also encouraged to present instead of just listening.

The public is invited to attend, and both BarCamp and CodeCamp are free to participants. VIP and Supporter tickets are also available for attendees who wish to provide financial support for the event. Registration details can be found here.
