Launched during their Innovation Summit, Synapse Web Platform features a robust content publishing platform to connect the emerging business community throughout the state of Florida.

Synapse called upon Haneke Design to design a completely new web platform concept to facilitate networking and content sharing geared towards a variety of technology professionals across the state.
The Web Platform is a combination of personal profiles, company profiles, events, articles, and innovation challenges focused on bringing together like-minded professionals. One of the key differentiators is the ability to filter content and company profiles that are relevant to users’ custom filter settings.
Developed with ease in mind, users are able to set-up their profile with pre-populated information from LinkedIn or to sign in using their Gmail Account. This platform is free to use for most user types and puts them within one degree of closeness from some of Florida’s biggest business influencers.
Establishing different filter settings was crucial to the project’s success. Once a user signs up, the Synapse platform takes them seamlessly through a series of onboarding screens where they can program their initial preferences, career, location and professional interests. With the knowledge that users’ interests will change and new technologies will emerge over time, content filtering is a primary, easy-to-use interface element.

One of the standout features is the ability for the user to create a Journey, where people with a variety of interests can track multiple topics and filter preferences in separate content tabs.
The best part about the app is that it features a curated collection of people, organizations, news, innovation challenges, and innovation showcases, along with other relevant information. And because users can create filters based on location, they can see a shortlist of all the people they should connect within their community and professional circles.
