Devlin Design Group: A Website Built Around the Work

Designing a website for a design firm is a delicate balance. The site must be confident and modern, but it can’t overshadow the work it’s meant to showcase. Devlin Design Group creates broadcast environments seen by millions, and their digital presence needed to feel just as considered as the sets they build.

Devlin came to Haneke with a clear goal: make their portfolio easier to explore while better communicating the full scope of their services. The redesign focused on creating a streamlined, story-driven experience where the projects lead and the brand supports.

Work First, Navigation Second

From the first moment on the homepage, visitors are guided straight to the portfolio. A bold statement introduces Devlin as an award-winning, full-service scenic and lighting firm, followed by a concise overview of the types of environments they create. Before clicking a single project, prospects understand exactly who Devlin is and why they matter.

Projects Told as Stories

Each portfolio entry is more than a gallery. Individual project pages pair striking imagery with short briefs and feature lists that explain the creative and technical challenges behind the work. The result is context—visitors don’t just see beautiful sets, they understand the thinking that shaped them.

Range at a Glance

A project spotlight carousel on the homepage highlights work from across categories such as daytime television, sports, and news. Even quick visitors come away with a strong impression of Devlin’s range and craftsmanship.

Clear, Scannable Positioning

Headline-style callouts distill Devlin’s approach into short, confident statements supported by concise copy. The format keeps the page easy to scan while reinforcing what sets the studio apart.

Services in Full View

A visual service grid near the bottom of the page reinforces the breadth of Devlin’s capabilities, helping producers and networks quickly confirm that the team can handle every aspect of scenic design.

Proof of Momentum

The footer features a “Latest Developments” section highlighting recent news and accolades, ensuring the site reflects a company that’s active, evolving, and in demand.

A Site That Grows With Them

The new ddgtv.com was built in WordPress to give Devlin full control over their content. After launch, Haneke trained their team to manage projects, imagery, and news updates so the site can evolve alongside their work.

Every engagement is different, but the goal is always the same: present a company with clarity, confidence, and respect for the audience. For Devlin Design Group, that meant stepping aside and letting the work take center stage.

If your website doesn’t reflect the caliber of what you create, we’d love to help you rethink it.
