Side-KickstartLaunching a new business is always tough, but in this economy it’s harder than ever.  Cash strapped fledgling entrepreneurs should take heart, though.  Jody Haneke, president of Haneke Design, will show them tricks for turning a shoestring budget Web site into a lead generating machine.  Haneke’s presentation, “Getting the Most Out of Your Web Site for the Least Amount of Money,” takes place on Friday, Nov. 20 at 10:30 a.m. and is part of the four-day inaugural KickStart Entrepreneurial Training Program at USF St. Petersburg College of Business.  The program will be held Nov. 13, 14, 20, and Dec. 11.

Haneke, who built Haneke Design into an award-winning graphic and interactive communications firm with numerous prestigious national accounts, will show how a well designed, thoughtfully written Web site created with the customer’s needs in mind can do wonders to help market and grow an emerging business.

The KickStart Training Program, made possible through a grant from WorkNet Pinellas, is a free workshop open to qualifying Pinellas County residents and business owners. Common Language, a strategic consulting and public relations firm located in St. Petersburg, and USF St. Petersburg College of Business have partnered to develop the program.
