    Jim leads the Strategic Analytics team in partnering with health care executives to make data-driven strategic decisions by understanding market dynamics and capitalizing on growth opportunities. Working with hospitals and large multi-hospital health systems across the U.S. to maximize the value of Sg2 Analytics, Jim infuses his expertise into projects that include service line and program development, ambulatory strategy, capital purchases, physician demand, cost and 30-day readmission reductions, physician recruitment strategies, volume forecasting and disease management.
  • Contributing to Sg2’s Business Development team, Jim provides analytics expertise during the introduction of Sg2’s tools to health care leadership teams. He often represents Sg2 at speaking engagements detailing national health care trends, ambulatory strategy development leveraging claims data and the socialization of decisions by storytelling with data.

Before joining Sg2, Jim was the Assistant Vice President of outreach at the Illinois State Medical Society and ISMIE Mutual Insurance Company. In this role, he was involved in managing relationships with large physician groups, advocacy, business development, marketing and governmental affairs. He also worked in the State of Illinois’ Office of the Governor.

Jim earned an MBA with concentrations in marketing and in management and organization from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He graduated with a BS in political science from Northwestern University.
