Tampa Bay Startup Week came to Tampa Bay, February 13-17. Sponsored by Chase, this week’s speaking engagements and interactive programs brought light to the thriving startup culture that has blossomed on both sides of the Bay.

Haneke Design Founder/President, Jody Haneke, spoke on the panel of the Iron Yard’s Founder Panel – Demystifying Technology in Entrepreneurship in St. Pete on Friday, February 17, 2017. The Iron Yard is a coding academy with locations across the country, including St. Pete. Haneke Design has personally hired 5 employees that are proud Iron Yard graduates. The Yard has a track record of producing highly trained individuals outfitted with experience to make it in the real world of coding.

When Haneke Design was asked to participate in the Founder’s Panel discussion, Jody Haneke was thrilled to offer some words of wisdom to those who were thinking about starting their own business.

Haneke Design was founded back in 2002 as a graphic and interactive design agency. Since then, it has transformed into a fully custom software development company designing and developing websites, mobile apps, and digital solutions from its Tampa Studio.

“We always jump at the chance to collaborate with Iron Yard,” said Jody Haneke. “We strongly believe in the work they do and the qualified talent they produce.”

The Panelists

The Founder Panel featured three other Tampa-based CEO’s as part of the Iron Yard’s event for Tampa Bay Startup Week. The discussion was moderated by Reuben Pressman, CEO of Presences, a software platform powering universities and colleges to get students more engaged and retain more effectively. The fellow panelists included Jody Haneke, Founder/President, Haneke Design, Millind Bharvikar, President, Priatek, Rachel Carpenter, Co-Founder & CEO, Intrinio, and Deborah Neff, Director of Operations, Sourcetoad Development Studio.
