Tampa, Fla. – (Dec. 3, 2013) – KiteDesk, a Tampa-based software company whose new browser-based platform for Salesforce® users improves every step in the sales process by adding a layer of business intelligence, social selling and CRM automation to the tools salespeople already use, has chosen Haneke Design as its official design partner.

Released earlier this month and already the subject of rave reviews among Salesforce technology experts and reviewers in publications such as Forbes.com, KiteDesk’s platform was created based on the principle that salespeople should have all business intelligence and social connections at their fingertips. It brings the Salesforce Sales Cloud, Google Apps™ service, Microsoft® Exchange, LinkedIn, Facebook, and SaaS applications into a single browser window. Its 360-degree view of companies and people dramatically reduces time spent on prospecting and CRM administration while improving employee morale.

“Collaborating with the KiteDesk team has been a fantastic experience for us,” said Jody Haneke, president of Haneke Design, a leading interactive design and development firm focused on delivering user-centered solutions for desktop, mobile and tablet devices.  “Their founders are some of the most brilliant technologists and serial entrepreneurs in Tampa Bay. “We are learning so much from them working together on solutions that help KiteDesk clients close business more efficiently and effectively than ever before.”

KiteDesk harnesses an entire company’s network to help salespeople find the best and fastest path into desired prospects. With a few clicks of the mouse, users can see who in the organization is connected to a prospect, gauge the strength of their relationship and request an introduction. This functionality eliminates wasted prospecting time and measurably improves the sales team’s close ratio.

Tampa natives and veteran entrepreneurs Jack Kennedy and Jared Rodriguez founded KiteDesk.  They located their offices in downtown Tampa’s First WaVE business accelerator to be in an environment that is supportive of other startups.

“KiteDesk selected Haneke Design as a design partner for the interface to our new sales platform because they have a demonstrated ability to quickly understand the needs of our business and our users and a unique vision with regard to our user experience,” said Kennedy, KiteDesk’s CEO. “KiteDesk’s browser plugin is an always available solution that integrates information and capabilities from many sources, and Haneke helped to establish a design that was clean, elegant and full featured without being obtrusive.”
