The St. Petersburg Times/TampaBay.com’s highly anticipated tampabay.com/things-to-do iPhone application, launched just one month ago, is already a huge hit among advertisers and local consumers. Over 10,000 people have downloaded the free application, which delivers consumers deals, mobile coupons, event listings, and other offers from local businesses straight to their iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch devices.

The tampabay.com/things-to-do app is the latest mobile project developed by Haneke Design, a leading graphic, interactive and user experience design firm with offices in Tampa and Denver. Haneke Design and the St. Petersburg Times/TampaBay.com team collaborated on the development of the project over several months to make sure the app would deliver consumers the best content, deals, and event listings in an extremely user friendly and personalized manner.

The tampabay.com/things-to-do application’s home screen affords easy access to all the major sections and features of the application. The Home Screen includes icons with links such as Events, Destinations, Near Me (location based Events & Destinations), My Favorites (favorite Destinations), Deals (the user’s announcements and coupons), Featured (currently featured businesses) and a locator box that tells users where to find copies of the St. Petersburg Times or tbt*Tampa Bay Times.
